Important information for applicants, who do not fulfill the requirements of the positions we are currently hiring for

Dear Applicant,

Thanks for being interested to work with us.

The market for experienced SAP professionals – especially with a very strong technical background like you have it – is currently very good in Germany.

However: We highly recommend for your case NOT to go through a recruitment agency like us or one of our competitors!

Reason for this is – and not all of our competitors will tell you, but instead might burn you in the market – recruiters in Germany have to deliver for 99% of the vacancies they search for, candidates who:

  1. speak at least upper level B2 or better C1 German and
  2. who have an EU working license or at least already live in Europe (or Israel, Russia or Turkey).

So for your case working with a recruiter will most likely not improve your chances to find a job in Germany, but probably make them worse.

Here is what you should do if you do not fulfill above requirements (1) or (2):

  • Check out our general recommendations how to find a SAP job in Germany on these pages: Online Consulting Package →
  • Check out our list of about 500 SAP Service providers in Germany: SAP-Dienstleister-Uebersicht.pdf →
Check these companies‘ websites and if they have a job ad, that matches your skillset, apply for the job (even though you do not fulfill requirements (1) or (2) above).
  • Check out our list of about 12.000 SAP user organizations in Germany →, that have searched for SAP professionals in the last eight years (see below).
Again: If these organizations have a job ad on their website, that matches your skillset, apply for the job (even though you do not fulfill requirements (1) or (2) above. As long as you apply directly there is still a small chance to get an intervew).
  • Check job-portals like www.monster.de or www.stepstone.de for job ads. These two platforms are the most prominent in Germany. Others (focused on SAP) would be: www.newjob.de or www.dv-treff.de. But there are many more featuring SAP job ads.
  • Check out our CustomGPT Career Coach → who has been fed with our knowledge about:
    • salary ranges
    • required technical skills
    • importance of speaking German in the German job market.
    • which documents you should use to apply for a job and how you should write them
    • step by step instructions how to obtain a working permission or required visas.
    • steps to start in your new job like finding a flat, getting health insurance, finding a school for kids, etc.
    • general information and recommendations on how to find a job in Germany (like the one above „do not go through an agency, but do everything yourself“ if either 1 or 2 applies to you)

We wish you good luck and please contact us, as soon you have worked in Germany for 2 or more years. Then we can certainly offer you much more future options, than you would find on the internet.

If you find this information helpful please forward this to friends or colleagues or leave us a feedback on Google
